Community Support Program (CSP)

Community Support Programs (CSPs) are coordinated treatment programs for persons with severe and persistent mental illness services. The goal of CSPs is to assist and support people with mental illness to live as independently as possible in the community of their choice, and to live a meaningful, fulfilling life.

Services include:

  • Psychiatric medication management: weekly medication box set-up.
  • Training in daily living skills.
  • Advocacy.
  • Socialization opportunities through the Drop-in Center and weekly programmed activities.
  • Assistance in finding and maintaining adequate living situations.
  • Assistance in applying for financial assistance including State and Federal funding sources.
  • Referrals for employment training.
  • Crisis intervention on a 24 hour/day basis.
  • Community education.
  • Referral for other service needs.
  • Assistance in keeping psychiatric and other medical appointments.
  • Case management.

Eligibility for services is determined by diagnosis and severity of need.

Community Support Programs are offered in both Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids:

  • Community Treatment Team - Cornerstone (Map) .
